Dedicated level 4 lockdown shopping and services area
Alert level 4 Covid-19 information is displayed on key landing pages throughout the All About Whitianga website as well as on individual business pages. Businesses are tagged into category areas making it easy for the public to find information including what businesses are:
- an essential service
- available for enquires
- available for online shopping
- working from home (offering services such as zoom consultations).
When the Coromandel Peninsula moves to a new alert level the information and categories will be displayed to include 'contactless services' and 'takeaways to collect'.
Keeping Whitianga lockdown information in one place
The Covid-19 lockdown 'shopping and services' area was first created by the All About Whitianga team during the March 2020 nationwide lockdown and has been activated again for the latest alert level lockdown.
When this August 17 nationwide alert level 4 lockdown was announced our team swung into action once again to display relevant lockdown information across the website for viewers, businesses, and the communities that it serves. Our team created these unique visual Covid-19 alert level status categories so the public can view information in one place and keep up to date with lockdown services. As an online service we are also able to update information as required in the event of changes to alert level requirements.
