The Wahi Tukurua volunteer team are kicking off 2025 with a keen focus on waste minimisation, and some exciting initiatives including the opening of a new Resource Recovery Centre for the Mercury Bay area.
Excitement is building in Whitianga as the town prepares for the Whiti Beach Meet, a celebration of muscle, classic cars, bikes, trucks, and more. The Beach Meet is being held 4th January 2025 at scenic Buffalo Beach reserve with over 200 vehicles expected to be on show.
