Craft Groups

Come and join the Mercury Bay Quilters based in Whitianga who are enthusiastic about this wonderful craft.

This iconic Mercury Bay event is held each year in early March. This first Art Escape weekend is scheduled for the 1st & 2nd of March. A FREE event and opportunity to explore the Coromandel's Mercury Bay artists studios, see their work, talk and even purchase their work.

The Whitianga Art Group welcomes new members from beginners to accomplished and estabished artists. The group meets weekly for a combined art practice session at School Road Reserve in Whitianga.

The Mercury Bay Art Escape Trust aims to promote and develop the growth of the visual arts in the Mercury Bay area in particular, and the wider Coromandel Peninsula in general.
