Entries and nominations are now open for 2026 Claymark Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards  and individuals, businesses and community groups are now invited to put forward nominations and entries for the Awards.

The awards are held to celebrate excellence and creativity in the Hauraki and Coromandel business sectors. The awards provide a valuable opportunity for organisations to gain recognition, opportunities to showcase their innovation, leadership, customer service, sustainability and business excellence. 

There are seven award categories and two nomination categories. 

Business Categories

Businesses can enter to showcase excellence in a specific area:

  • Community Contribution
  • Customer Experience 
  • Employer Experience
  • Marketing and Digital Edge
  • New and Emerging
  • Excellence in Sustainability 
  • Māori Business Excellence.

Public Nominated Awards

Who do you think are the most awesome businesses in Hauraki and Coromandel? An opportunity for the public to voice their appreciation and support of local businesses. Categories include:

  • Service to Business
  • People's Choice Thames Coromandel
  • People's Choice Hauraki.

How to make your nomination

Nominations can be made at Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards - entries and nominations close 31 July, 2026. 

Key Dates

1 June - 31 July - Entries/Nominations Open

10 August - 23 August - Voting for People's Choice opens

28 August - Finalists announced

1 September - 1 October - Ticket sales for awards ceremony open

15 October - Winners announced/Awards Night.
