The Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards organisers have created two categories for the public to make an online vote to celebrate their favourite local business and community groups including:

  • The People’s Choice Award- to acknowledge who the public thinks are the most awesome businesses in Hauraki and Coromandel.
  • Community and Not for Profit Award - to acknowledge the heroes doing amazing things in the communities, for the communities.

The top three businesses and community groups that receive the most public votes will go to an awards gala evening at the Grand Mercure Puka Park in Pauanui on the 28th October where all award category winners will be revealed.

Nominations include representation from the Mercury Bay

Twenty six businesses have been nominated for the People's Choice category across the Hauraki and Coromandel, including six businesses from the Mercury Bay Area.

Ten groups have been nominated for the Community and Not for Profit category, including two Mercury Bay groups.

How to vote for your favourite business or community group

Award organisers encourage the public to go to Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards website to vote for nominated businesses and community groups. Finalists for the public voting categories will be announced in October.
