Cook together and stay in

A favourite pastime for many is to cook together and a night in at home. Why not grab some of those tomatoes from the garden and try our new simple Tomato, Olive and Spinach Pasta recipe. Tomatoes are also known as the 'love apple' and according to some an aphrodisiac. A perfect choice for a valentines meal. If tomatoes are not to your liking, then try another recipe from our recipes page and grab some supplies from the Whitianga Butcher, New World or Countdown.

Breakfast out

Start the day with a table for two, great coffee and your breakfast of choice. There are a great range of cafés in the Mercury Bay with fantastic views and unique settings. Check them out in our Places to Eat page.
