Cook together and stay in

A favourite pastime for many is to cook together and a night in at home. Why not grab some of those tomatoes from the garden and try our simple Tomato, Olive and Spinach Pasta recipe. Tomatoes are also known as the 'love apple' and according to some an aphrodisiac. A perfect choice for a valentines meal. If tomatoes are not to your liking, then try another recipe from our recipes page and grab some supplies from the Whitianga Butcher, New World or Countdown.

Breakfast out

Treat yourself to a relaxing soak

Book some time out at Whitianga's The Lost Spring. Treat yourselves to a soak, massage and cocktail!

Movie night 

Why not leave Netflix at home and venture out to the Movies? The Mercury Bay Twin Cinema have a fabulous deal - choose to see one of these great movies - Madame Webb or Bob Marley: One Love with your significant other. Grab two adults tickets plus a share combo (1 large popcorn & 2 choc top ice creams) for just $40. This deal is available online only. You can even treat yourselves with a glass of bubbles or a beer for your date night.

Enjoy a picnic on the beach under the stars 

What’s more romantic than sitting on the beach looking at the stars or moon. Pick up some Takeaways or treats from Stoked Deli and enjoy the view.

A fun activity
