Show your support by donating to the annual Daffodil Day collection to assist individuals and families in Whitianga and the wider Mercury Bay who are affected by cancer.
The Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust will have volunteers at collection points around Whitianga to collect donations to go towards those affected by cancer in the Mercury Bay.
The Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust Collection Stalls
Collection stalls fare usually at the following locations Whitianga:
- Four Square
- New World
- French Fig
- Outside the Cancer Support Trust Book Shop 24 Albert Street, Whitianga
- Roving collectors on the streets during the day and at clubs and pubs in the evening
Also keep an eye out at key locations in:
- Kuaotunu, Cooks Beach and Hahei
Donate to Daffodil Day In Whitianga & The Mercury Bay
One in three people in New Zealand are affected by cancer and Daffodil Day is held annually throughout New Zealand to raise funds to assist those affected. The Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust will be in Whitianga raising funds for the Mercury Bay community to assist with funding for the provision os services, support, information for those affected by cancer.
Who are the Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust?
The Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust is a group of local volunteers who have all personally experienced cancer, or have supported others through thier cancer journey. The group offers practical and emotional support to people with cancer and their families. Your donations on Daffodil Day will assist in providing funding for the group to provide assistance directly in Whitianga and the wider Mercury Bay Area.
