Volunteers will again be collecting in Whitianga for this years Cancer Society Daffodil Day.

Daffodil Day Street Collection

In person and online donations are welcome for Daffodil Day donations.

Keep an eye out for volunteers who will be throughout the Mercury Bay with buckets collecting for this year's fundraiser.

Collection Locations

Mercury Bay Fishing Club collections on Thursday 28th August. 

Collection points for Friday 29th August 2025: 

  • Whitianga fixed locations – 9am -5pm at Countdown, New World and Tangos shoe shop,
  • Buffalo Beach Four Square (8am-6pm), industrial area Moewai (morning)
  • Whitianga ‘Mobile roaming volunteer collectors’ - on main street and visiting cafes
  • Central locations in Cooks Beach and Hahei.
