Pseudo Echo – pioneers of the 80’s

Pseudo Echo, having pioneered the ‘80s with their stylized look and electro sound, have established themselves as one of the most iconic and influential, multi award-winning bands in Australia. The band has produced several hits on the NZ Singles Charts including Funky Town, A Beat for You, Don’t Go, Listening and Love An Adventure.

As well as reaching No 1 on the singles charts, their album by the same name, Funky Town, also reached number on the NZ Album Charts in 1987 and was in the charts for 19 weeks, the same amount of weeks as the single. Pseudo Echo continue their legacy to this day, fronted by original founding member and producer Brian Canham.
