Who are the Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust?
The Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust is a group of local volunteers who have all personally experienced cancer, or have supported others through ther cancer journey. The group offers practical and emotional support from people who may understand the emotions and experiences that come with a cancer diagnosis.
Clients are usually introduced to the support group through practice and district nurses, doctors or self-referral. Our help is available from the time a person receives a cancer diagnosis. All volunteers within the group maintain strict confidentiality and respect the rights and wishes of each client.
If you, a member of your family or a friend needs support or someone to talk to about cancer please contact the group as this is a free voluntary service that has been set up to serve members of the Mercury Bay community.
