The BreastScreen Aotearoa programme offers a free mammogram for any women aged 45-69 who are eligible for free healthcare in New Zealand. The programme advocates that early detection is your best protection.

Clinics rescheduled in Whitianga

The clinics have been rescheduled as New Zealand goes to COVID-19 lockdown level 2. The service for Whitianga is due to arrive in the Lee street Carpark from the 8th June. Letters have been sent to women requiring screening, but anyone can make enquires about the service. The BreastScreen Aotearoa freephone number is 0800 270 200. For more information about the programme and Covid-19 coronavirus updates regarding cancer screening services go to BreastScreen Aotearoa.
