In the Pro Division Wild Wood Mini Golf course owner Darren Prole added another silver medal to his collection, finishing behind winner Cameron Couper of Auckland. Two other Whitianga locals Mark Collins and George Fletcher (Mercury Bay Area School teachers) finished 6th and 9th respectively.

This event was a first for Whitianga, and the Coromandel Peninsula. There was such a fantastic effort from everyone who competed at the Mini Golf Open - lots of fun and friendly competition was had!
