Competitors entering the putting tour are included in national and international rankings. At last year’s May event Whitianga got its first Mercury Bay local on the national ranking board. Local Mercury Bay Area School teacher Mark Collins is now placed 24th in New Zealand mini golf. View the leader board and rankings on the New Zealand Mini Golf Federation website
The putting tours are held throughout New Zealand and a chance for mini golfers to compete and meet socially with others who share their same passion for the sport. It’s also an important opportunity for golfers to hone their skills in the lead up to the New Zealand Mini Golf Open, which we are delighted to be hosting in December at Wild Wood Mini Golf.
