Hundreds of vehicles to be on show at Whiti Beach Meet this January

What to expect on the day 

The 2025 Beach Meet promises an impressive lineup, featuring a vast collection of iconic muscle cars, military vehicles, motorcycles, and caravans. Highlights include a KR Mustang, a legendary 1923 famous  race car and powerful heavy race trucks and military vehicles that are sure to captivate spectators when they roar to life. 

Adding to the excitement, live music from The Longhorns, a dynamic country rock band, and performances by local favourites led by the talented Phil Hart, will keep the energy high and have rock’n’roll and line dancers moving all day long.

It's only $20 to register your vehicle or come along for free as a spectator to view the awesome vehicles that will be on show. As part of the fun we'll be auctioning a very special Holden collector item – if you’re a Holden lover it would be a must to own, plus there will  also be lots of raffles. And of course we encourage everyone to dress up in the 50s to 80s theme, with prizes being awarded for the best dressed. Plenty of fun entertainment for the whole family, a chance to view some awesome vehicles and talk with owners, look forward to seeing you there!

Vote for best dressed 50s-80s theme 

All entrants and visitors to the show are encouraged to dress up retro, dress in the year of their car or just dress up in a fun theme. There will be prizes for best dressed male, female and couple.  

Car enthusiasts welcome! 

Organised by the Whitianga American Street and Custom Car Club, the Whiti Beach Meet will showcase vehicles of various types and models. With no restrictions on the year model, make, or type of the vehicles, visitors can expect a diverse range of classic and vintage cars, American muscle cars, hot rods, bikes, trucks, and even new vehicles.

The Whiti Beach Meet is not just about cars and vehicles, though. Visitors can also enjoy a range of activities throughout the day, including food and drinks from local vendors, live music, raffles, and other fun games and activities. Visitors are encouraged to support the car show, and proceeds from the raffles will go to local fundraising projects.

And, the Whiti Beach Meet is not just a day for car enthusiasts and visitors. It's also a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to benefit from the influx of visitors to the area. Whitianga American Street and Custom Car Club

The Whitianga American Street and Custom Car Club welcomes anyone with an appreciation for classic or unusual vehicles to join their club. Although their name suggests a focus on American muscle cars, they encourage all types of retro vehicles to join.
