On the Wandering Paths
Academy Award©-winner Jean Dujardin (The Artist) stars in an inspirational story based on real events.
Pierre is a celebrated writer with a penchant for extreme experiences and solo treks. He has always done everything on his terms, when it suited him and with whom he chose, but when anything threatened his freedom, he did what he excels at - run away. One drunken evening, he climbs the facade of a building and falls several stories. The accident leaves him deep in a coma. When he emerges from it, Pierre is barely able to stand, but against everyone's advice, he decides to hike all alone across France - from Provence to Mont Saint Michel, along forgotten trails through some of France’s roughest, most inhospitable and beautiful regions.
Based on an award-winning autobiography by Sylvain Tesson – who also appeared in the documentary, The Velvet Queen – On the Wandering Paths is an escape from the frantic world, a story of fortitude, healing, resilience, and reconnection to nature and deep self.

Maria Into Life
WINNER - 2022 International Francophone Film Festival - Best Film (Audience Award)
WINNER - 2022 Cabourg Film Festival - Best Film - Audience Prize
The always-sensational Karin Viard (The Bélier Family) and Gregory Gadebois (Delicious) star in award-winning short filmmakers Lauriane Escaffre and Yvonnick Muller’s debut feature, an enchanting and beautifully crafted romantic comedy about a shy, unappreciated woman who finally allows herself to open up to life and love.
The kind-hearted, middle-aged Maria (Viard) works as a cleaner. Though highly devoted to her clients, her secret passion is writing poems on her daily commute, though she never shares them with anyone (least of all her indifferent husband of 25 years).
But when Maria joins the cleaning staff of Paris’ prestigious École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts), everything changes. Within the hallways and classrooms of the hallowed institution, she discovers an exciting world of creative expression, assisted in no small part by Hubert (Gadebois), the school’s eccentric, long-time custodian. Usually reserved and discreet, Maria finds herself torn by new emotions, and must decide how much of her true self she’s prepared to reveal…
Evocatively shot on location and expertly produced by Quad Films (The Intouchables, C’est la vie), it comes as no surprise that 13-time César nominee Viard positively glows as Maria. She and Gadebois are effortlessly charming, as is the film.

Annie’s Fire
WINNER - 2022 Locarno International Film Festival - Variety Piazza Grande Award
OFFICIAL SELECTION - 2022 Angoulême Film Festival
Inspired by true events, Annie's Fire is the warm, tender and humane new film from Blandine Lenoir (writer/director of 2018 hit Aurore), featuring another terrific performance from the unstoppable Laure Calamy (Antoinette in the Cévennes, Full Time, Call My Agent!) as an ordinary woman who becomes emboldened by a cause far bigger than herself.
February 1974, regional France. When mild-mannered working-class mother of two Annie (Calamy) and her husband accidentally fall pregnant, they know they can’t afford to care for another child. Annie is introduced to a group of local women and doctors who offer both judgement-free support and family planning. Far from underground, the network defiantly refuses to hide from public view, even though their efforts are considered illegal across the nation. Annie is surprised by the camaraderie and conviction of her new friends, and through them, finds her mind opened to feminism and self-empowerment.
Anchored by Calamy’s generous and hugely engaging performance, amid an exceptional ensemble cast of authentic, memorable characters, Lenoir’s ode to female solidarity tells a tale as important as ever, not only a compelling reminder of how things were, but also a warning of how they could yet be.
