With just three weeks to go the Mystery Inc. En Pointe annual dance show is taking shape and promising to be as entertaining as we have come to expect.

Rehearsals for Whitianga dance show well underway
The entire crew at the studio are rehearsing day in and day out. From pre-schoolers right through to senior students, who are also busy with school exams. This year's show is titled Mystery Inc. and themed on the popular animated television show franchise Scooby Doo and Mystery Incorporated. This years show has a team of teenagers and their dog in an adventure – dancing and solving mysteries along the way.
Coordination is key to the shows success
A student base of approximately 120 students will take to the stage, so co-ordination is no mean feat.
The dance based show will feature all the studio's dance styles and age groups as they dance their way through the Mystery Inc. adventure. My team ad I choreograph the performance to showcase all the dance styles from pre-school ballet, to hip hop and lyrical dance. It's always fantastic to see all of my students up on stage performing to our great local audience.

Lisa has a team of parents who help run the back stage for the rehearsals and shows. They help out with everything from make up to last minute costume adjustments and repairs along with keeping the students quiet and entertained.
Showcasing local Whitianga dance talent
The performance will showcase the variety of dances that are taught at En Pointe Dance studio throughout the year. The dance show is also an opportunity for senior students to perform in lead roles and take on solo routines.
Show dates and ticketing
This year's shows will be on Saturday, 5th and Sunday 6th December at the Whitianga Town Hall at 4pm and 2pm. Tickets are available from the studio. For more event details please see the related link on this page.
