With a career spanning nearly three decades, Bic Runga (Ngāti Kahungunu, Rongomaiwahine) has earned an unparalleled reputation in the New Zealand music scene, collecting an impressive twenty Tui Awards, including four for Best Female Vocalist and three for Best Producer.

Runga’s debut single, "Drive," released in 1996, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. Her debut album of the same name was certified seven times platinum, featuring the iconic hit "Sway." Her follow-up album, Beautiful Collision(2002), achieved an incredible eleven times platinum status and produced beloved tracks like "Get Some Sleep," "Something Good," and "Listening For The Weather."

Her influence extends far beyond New Zealand. Bic Runga’s music has reached audiences worldwide, with her songs featured in international film soundtracks and her albums receiving acclaim across Europe, Asia, and North America.

In 2016, Runga was honored with the Legacy Award at the New Zealand Music Awards and inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
