Get involved – volunteer for A Taste of Matarangi

While the impacts of Covid-19 has seen two years where the festival was unable to be held, the organising committee are now looking firmly to the festivals future. The A Taste of Matarangi event team work together to make a real difference in the local community. The contribution of many volunteers are an important part of making the festival a successful event. 

Extra pairs of hands are now required to plan and deliver this iconic local event for 2022. 

Here’s a fantastic opportunity to join our events team and support the delivery of the A Taste of Matarangi 2022 festival. If you have skills we need and would be interested in volunteering your time to be part of progressing this wonderful event, we would love to hear from you!

Background to the A Taste of Matarangi Festival

The A Taste of Matarangi festival is held in picturesque Matarangi. It has regularly attracted thousands of foodies and music lovers keen to enjoy the unique beachside vibe, great local music and food, craft beers and wine. Since the festival was first held in 2013 the event committee have raised over $90,000 through fundraising and donations to benefit local charity groups including Kuaotunu Land Search and Rescue and Coromandel Rescue Helicopter.
