This iconic festival is back for its 10th anniversary in 2025. Fantastic music, food, beverages – auctions, cake competition and a dress up challenge!

10:00 - Festival opens
10.20 - Te Rerenga Kapa Haka group - Te Rerenga school pupils performing Kapa Haka
10:45 - Hazy and the Jays - This dynamic group hailing from Thames, will be delivering a captivating mix of classic rock hits and their own original compositions. As an emerging force on the local music scene, they are truly a band to watch. Don’t miss the chance to see this talented group light up the stage!
12:00 - Electric Vibes - An extremely versatile and skilled musical duo based in BOP! Sammie and Angelo cover a wide range of genres from country rock to reggae & RnB and definitely know how to get a crowd on their feet and wanting more! They can’t wait to take to the stage at Matarangi and get all the locals singing along!
1:00 - Charity auction 1 – Supporting Kuaotunu Search & Rescue, Te Rerenga School & The Coromandel Rescue Helicopter Trustl
1:30 - Grant Haua - A talented singer, songwriter, and guitarist Grant’s music has taken him far and wide, with tours across Europe and Australia and the release of four albums that highlight his expressive voice and masterful guitar work. With his unique sound of deep soul & blues Grant will be joined by his band for a performance that promises to be a powerful celebration of music and soul.
2:30 - Charity Auction 2 and Raffle draw - Raffles are on sale from 10am until 2pm at the raffle tent. Last chance to bid for some amazing auction packages. Winners of the cake competition, cake auction and dress up challenge announced!
3:00 - Black and Gold - The boys of Black and Gold are back, bigger, better, and bolder and bring their signature twist that ensures everyone is engaged, energized, and having an unforgettable time. This band boasts some of New Zealand's finest musical talent and their style spans from top Kiwi song icons to timeless classics and today’s Top 20 hits. Whether it’s Rock, Pop, Dance, Reggae, Dub, Funk, or countless classic bangers to wash it all down, Black and Gold keeps the good vibes flowing.
