The organising committee are working on a great programme for 2022. This is the approximate timeline up so far.
10am - Gates open
10.30 am Welcome by local iwi Ngati Huarere
10.45am - Music: Whitianga Dixieland Band
11am - Te Rerenga School Children's cooking competition
11.45am - ‘The Great ATOM Cook Off’ (details to be confirmed)
12pm - Music: Taotua duo
1pm - Charity Auction
1.30pm - Music: To be confirmed
2.45pm - Raffle ticket drawn (on sale 10am-2pm at raffle tent, next to cooking tent)
3pm- Music: Sugafix - rocking us from afternoon to close of the day
4pm - Alcohol sales close
4.30pm - Festival closes
Parking & Getting there
Street parking along Kenwood Drive and surrounding streets. Disabled parking near the entrance at the end of Kenwood Drive. Please follow the link to A Taste of Matarangi website for information about shuttle transport options.
Supporting Local Charities
The proceeds raised throughout the day will be donated to a vital organisation in our region - Kuaotunu Land Search & Rescue (KSAR) and Te Rerenga School. Additional fundraising will also take place with fantastic items up for grabs as part of our Charity Auction. Opportunities to donate to our charities are through the website when purchasing your ticket and on event data the charity auction, raffle tent and the bucket drop.
