I ordered a set menu dish (number 5 a 2 dish meal) and when it finally came out the curry was stone cold not even warm. I was told that because there was another dish to my meal it was normal. She took it away and when it came back after being microwaving it and it still wasn't even warm I sent it back!!
I refused to pay for it even though she want me to pay half but I hadn't eaten any of it!!
Worst Thai meal I've ever had and very sad to see what was once a very good restaurant now with new owners so bad!!
My family had dinner at this place on the 4/4/21. Had to wait awhile to be seated. Ordered Pad Thai and my nephew found a long strand of hair in it. We also ordered chicken fried rice for takeaway the next morning we ate and found a screw in the fried rice.
Poor hygiene and service dangerous if kids are eating there food. And very expensive for the poor quality of food. Will NOT recommend to anyone to chooses to eat Thai in Whitianga
