  • Take 1,103 individual steps
  • Wear up to 25 kg of kit
  • Climb 328 metres to the top of the Sky Tower
  • Navigate 51 flights of stairs.

Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand receives very little government funding, so please sponsor us and help us support this great cause. Thanks to everyone who has sponsored our team to date, it is most appreciated.

Why Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand requires funding

The vision of LBC charity is to cure and the mission is to care by supporting patients and their families. This national organisation reports that every day seven children and adults in New Zealand are diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Donations assist to provide:

  • financial assistance to help patients get to hospital for treatment
  • information for families affected by blood cancer
  • access to support groups
  • support for research to find a cure
  • young blood cancer patients a connection to their classmates through Monkey in my Chair.
