Historical Society AGM in Whitianga

The AGM is a chance to catch up with other members over a meal, enjoy stories from our fascinating speaker Robin Lee who tells us he is working on a surprise topic. And, of course we’ll do the business end of the AGM meeting which will take the usual form including Chairperson Alastair Brickell's report  back to you on the past year’s activities and seeking approval of our financial reporting.

There is also so much more we need to discuss:

Our Society needs your support in all the usual ways – that is, of course, members who are sufficiently interested to join our committee, as the saying goes ‘the more the merrier’.

Mercury Bay Historical Society AGM details

Date and Time: Thursday 3rd August, doors open 11am for 11.30am start 
Programme : Brief AGM, followed by Guest speaker and roast dinner meal
Where: Mercury Bay Club (Cook Drive)
Meal cost: rsvp for meal essential - cost $25 per person for roast meal to be paid in cash on arrival. And for those with a sweet tooth, desserts are available for an additional cost.
