Have a look around Whitianga Coastguard Shed
Join the Coastguard team at their Whitianga headquarters for an information day. Bring the family and take a look at the rescues boats and meet the awesome crews.
The team will be on hand to show you their equipment and set up, share how to make trip reports, calls for assistance, and how to join or become a volunteer.
And, take a peak at their rescue vessels!
Bring along your lifejacket and we will show you how and what to check so you know it'll inflate! Plus they will tell you what equipment is essential to keep you safe while on the water.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
