An extra opportunity for art lovers to visit the open studios in Mercury Bay and Whitianga over the Easter weekend as part of the Mercury Bay Art Escape.
Artists open studios
Over 50 local artists are opening their studios again to the public this March as part of the Mercury Bay Art Escape. All are welcome to visit over the two weekends in March to enjoy meeting, see work in progress and even purchase pieces of artwork.
With two art groups and seven new members this year, there is a brilliant mix of artists including:
- flax weavers
- mosaic artists
- a glass artist
- and a furniture maker.
From Tairua to Rings Beach, grab a map and enjoy FREE entry to studios from 10am-4pm each weekend, 6 &7, 13 & 14 March and 3 & 4 April 2021. Look out for the official blue Art Escape flags along the way.
