Artists Open Studios

Local artists are opening their studios again to the public in March as part of the Mercury Bay Art Escape. All are welcome to visit over the two weekends in March to enjoy meeting, see work in progress and even purchase pieces of artwork.

There is a brilliant mix of artists including:

  • potters
  • sculptors
  • painters
  • printmakers
  • photographers
  • flax weavers
  • woodworkers
  • mosaic artists
  • jewellers
  • a glass artist
  • and a furniture maker.

From Tairua to Rings Beach, grab a map and enjoy FREE entry to studios from 10am-4pm each weekend. Look out for the official blue Art Escape flags along the way.

Gala opening and Showcase Exhibition

The Art Escape will be opened with a Gala event. This mix and mingle will showcase work from artists and give you a preview on what will be on offer.

The Gala opening and exhibition is a ticketed event.
