Why do the Oneness Yoga Challenge?
In the 7 day Yoga challenge the different postures and yantras being practised will help you awaken to your body bliss. You should do this yourself, but more importantly step out and share it with others. Let's use our energy to share and dream of a more harmonious world for all. A world of Oneness and happiness for all. We live in a World that is interconnected. It is therefore very important that a part of our mind thinks about others. Yes, think about our planet and animals, Yes think about our climate and earth. We also need to think about our fellow human beings. This world gives us so much. What can we give back? Sometimes we spend time thinking about plants and animals, and ignore human beings. We need to become something more.
We need to become passive activists – what do we mean by this? We cannot limit our kindness to thoughts and speech alone. You meditate for world peace, that is important it will help, you speak kind words, that is important it will help. But that alone is not enough, you must step into action. You must do something more. Passive activism is not driven by anger or hate or judgement, it is driven by “can I do something to help my fellow human beings, can I do something to make them happier, more fulfilled.
The upcoming Yoga Challenge is one such opportunity for all of us to step out and initiate this change.
