The festival aims to bring people to a state of peace that leads to the discovery of a deeper perception that is inclusive, to speak from a place of wisdom and to perform action that cares for the well-being of all life. The focus of the festival is on peace and inclusivity and is non denominational.

Last year New Zealand's Race Relations Minister Meng Foon was a guest speaker representing the Human rights commission of New Zealand.

In 2020 over ten million individuals from 100 countries participated in the Ekam Peace Festival, with far more expected to attend this year. As covid is affecting our lives, all Peace Festival activities are online. We encourage you, your children, your organisation and our community to experience this peaceful state of awareness. Our world needs Peace as does every individual. We invite your to join us as we launch the Ekam Peace festival activities in New Zealand.

Linda Cholmondeley-Smith – Mercury Bay Resident and Peace Launch Co-rdinator.

Calmness - Stillness - Clarity - Action

The Ekam World Peace Festival is the worlds largest online gathering of people who are committed to living in peace and harmony with each other, our planet, and all life forms.

Attendees are invited to join the festival to learn meditative techniques to experience states of:

  • Calm to assist in being guided through confusion, unexpected stress and turmoil
  • Peace to build on strengths to repair, broken relationships, hearts and to restore a connection to the earth
  • Peace aiming to lead to the discovery of a deeper perception that is inclusive, to speak from a place of wisdom and to perform action that cares for the well-being of all life.
