Tsunami alerting systems – public forum
The Council will be holding a public forum to share information about the disconnection of tsunami sirens in the Whitianga area and coromandel district. The forum will be held at the Mercury Bay Service centre offices on Monk Street, Monday 12th April at 12.30pm. All are welcome to come along.
The council will explain the reasoning behind the disconnection and also share the alternative measures that are in place to keep everyone safe.
