Single Use Cup (SUC) Free Mercury Bay Meeting

Let's make Mercury Bay SUC free!

At Wāhi Tukurua our vision is a Coromandel Peninsula in which waste minimisation is a part of our DNA. By leading the way and establishing pathways for our community to choose and prioritise meaningful waste reduction, we aim to encourage, stimulate and promote reuse, recycling, and refurbishment everywhere.

This year one of our priorities is to reduce the 250,000 single use cups from the Mercury Bay that end up in landfill!

So we are calling all cafe owners and single use cup businesses to join us for a collaborative get-together where we'll discuss and brainstorm solutions to reduce disposable cups in our community.

Together, we can make a significant impact!
