Kids sessions at Mercury Bay Museum
Three fun sessions for children with an archaeology theme will be held in the second week of the school holidays this April. Just $2 for children and koha for adults, the sessions are 2 hours long.
Three Archaeology Week events in Whitianga
'Going Potty'
Tuesday April 27th – Dig up a pot and find out what it may have been used for.
'Archaeology is Rubbish'
Wednesday April 28th – Detective work looking at archaeological 'rubbish'.
'Archaeologists Digging Deep'
Friday April 30th – fun 'digging up' artefacts.
