Whiti Fest in Whitianga town centre this Waitangi weekend

Whiti Fest will be spread across at 5 different locations around the Whitianga Town Centre, so you can cruise around town and soak up all the performances at your leisure.

At each of the locations, there will be a series of performances by Mercury Bay-based performing artists,covering a variety of performance genres including:

  • music
  • dance
  • poetry
  • and more!

Performers will be of all ages and experience levels and you’ll be able to give them koha for their performance if you wish.

Abundance of Whitianga talent

Whiti Fest will celebrate the abundance of our local performing arts talent, liven up the Whitianga Town Centre and capture the imaginations of locals and visitors alike.
The arts regularly heal, entertain and inspire us and we reckon Whiti Fest is just what we need to kick 2021off with a bang!
