About the Role

This position requires exceptional customer service skills as well as shopping and developing product knowledge. We are looking for people who will take pride in collecting items purchased online, who will treat the shopping as their own. You must be able to provide our New World Whitianga clientele a "personal shopping service" offering the ultimate experience in shopping to the very highest standard.  

• The hours - full time and partime  casual to be discussed.

This is a physical role that involves pushing heavy trolleys of groceries and packing, sometimes heavy, orders into lockers above shoulder height. Accuracy is important to ensure all customer orders are correctly filled. Attention to detail and physical capability is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Delivering high levels of customer service
• Collecting each item ordered using a tablet and following the online app.
• Outstanding presentation of products.

About you

We are looking for individuals who loves shopping for groceries!  You will be proactive, reliable, resourceful, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to multi-task, with a high level of professionalism and an outstanding presentation of products.

• Extremely reliable and punctual
• Physically strong and able to lift up to 20kgs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Customer focused
• Have the right to work in New Zealand.
