Bakery Packer - New World – Whitianga

In this Fullt-Time role, you will be responsible for packing and preparing our freshly baked goods for our customers.

Hours to be discussed during the interview process.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully packing and labelling freshly baked breads, cakes, pastries and other bakery products
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bakery
• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management
• Ensure the shop is properly merchandised, with shelves neatly organised and products attractively displayed
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a bakery or packing role
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A keen eye for quality and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
