The Club is open daily for use by members. The licensed bar operates during all bowls tournaments and opens daily from 4p.m. until 6.30pm or later if required for members. Eftpos is available.

The Mercury Bay Bowling Club has two full size 38.1 metre square bowls rinks, one star weed lawn green and one astro grass for all year round use. Visitors are most welcome and we have clubrooms for hire.

The 63 bowls members and 51 social members, 32 of whom are Bridge Club members have full use of the large clubrooms that cater for indoor bowls, darts and pool. Come and join us to enjoy lawn bowls, bridge and fellowship.

Mercury Bay Bowling Clubroom Facilities

A great kitchen facility allows for full catering for members. The clubrooms accommodate 150 persons and has a specially laid dance floor area.

Clubrooms For Hire

The rooms are hired for any functions, especially weddings and birthdays. Bookings are essential with full bar facilities available.

Supporting Other Local Community Groups

The Club support the Mercury Bay Cancer Support Group who have their book stall in a club shed and COMBUS a group that operate a Community 11 seater van for hospital visits who have a garage in the club area.

Congratulations Mercury Bay the most successful Thames Valley Club for the 2014/15 season. Twelve Centre Titles and 2 Centre Event wins an absolutely fantastic achievement. The Club repeated their 2009/10 feat by winning the Thames Valley Premier AND B section Interclub titles. Go the Bay!
