Relax and chill at our Cooks Beach restaurant 

We're under new ownership and offering morning coffees, a fresh casual menu for lunches or dinners. The Vessel has a classic relaxed kiwi vibe right in the heart of the Cook's Beach village. Come in for a bite to eat and quench your thirst – we'd love to see you!

We are all about casual summer dining and an awesome place to catch up with your mates and family. We're only three kilometres walk, bike or taxi from Ferry Landing and a short drive from Hot Water Beach or Cathedral Cove. 

Indoor and outdoor casual dining 

The relaxed atmosphere of both indoor and outdoor areas means that you can wander in from the beach or jump off your bike and enjoy our hospitality. Appreciate the fresh air under our umbrellas while sipping on a great selection drinks, including craft beers or NZ wines.

Pizzas are our speciality and we also have a great range of  burgers and good honest kiwi fare. 

Don’t feel like cooking? Enjoy an ice cold drink while you wait for a takeaway pizza – please note we do not take phone orders for our takeaway food.

Winter at the Vessel

During the winter months from May to September the Vessel offer takeaway pizza. Order via mobile phone and come on down and pick it up. Payment by EFTPOS only thanks.
