There is literally music for every taste!
Festival HQ And Tickets
Book online or tickets will be available at Festival HQ, 20 Monk St, but there will be a surcharge.

Festival Hours and Venues
Getting to the concert could not be easier as all of the venues are located in the centre of town including:
  • Whitianga Town Hall
  • Whitianga Hotel
  • The Old Firehouse/Ray White Building

Festival hours will run from 11.00am to 11pm, 11am to 8pm and 11am to 8.30pm respectively for the above venues, on Saturday June 3 and Sunday June 4. Concert times are as per the Festival programme, and are subject to last minute changes. 

Satellite venues (partner cafes and restaurants) will run to their own hours.  Please check with them directly for their plans

Workshops will be held on both Saturday and Sunday in Mercury Bay Area School’s Performing Arts Centre, apart from the Mercury Festival Big Gospel Sing workshop and performance, which will take place in the Crossroads Church.
The Gospel Concerts on Sunday will be held at the Crossroads Church (opposite New World).

A Festival For All Music Lovers
The 2017 Festival offers relaxed, intimate and friendly access to world class, live musical talent.
  • A festival atmosphere of  shared fun and celebration
  • An inspired musical experience for our local and visiting communities
  • A multi-generational opportunity for inclusive, hands-on particpation.
We choose musicians who will fit into our relaxed, rural environment and relate to a festival which is both intimate and accessible. 
Tickets may be sold at the door of the Festival, space allowing.  There will be a surcharge.
On arrival, please go to Festival HQ to trade your ticket for a wristband, colour-coded to your ticket variety.  This wristband will gain you entry into the three main concert venues.  Please wear it at all times. NO WRISTBAND - NO ENTRY.

Satellite Venues (Partner cafes and restaurants) will also have music and your entry subject to their hours and entry criteria.

If still available, tickets can be purchased on the weekend via EFTPOS or cash, at Festival Headquarters, or for credit card purchases at Whitianga iSITE, or online via Eventfinda.

EFTPOS  facilities will be available for on-the-day ticket purchases at Festival HQ.
There are ATMs throughout the town for cash withdrawals.
Credit card facilities will also be available at the bars at the Town Hall and Whitianga Hotel
Event Management

The event management will be based at Festival HQ.  This will be a place for lost and found, health and safety, and any enquiries.
