WHITIANGA LIBRARY SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
There is something for the whole family to get involved in at the library. From art, story time, teddy bear picnics, lego challenge, scavenger hunts, dinosaurs and sock puppets.
January Kids Holiday Programme - Mercury Bay Library
- Tuesday 7th, 10.30am-11.30am - Art-basic creations (ages 5-12)
- Wednesday 8th, 9.30am-10am - Taniwha Storytime and mask making (ages 2-6)
- Thursday 9th, 10.30am-11.30am - Teddy bears picnic, bring your favourite soft toy and join in on some picnic fun and bubbles (ages 2-5)
- Tuesday 14th, 9.30-10am - Lego challenge! Bring the whole family and work as a team to complete the lego challenges for the ultimate Lego bragging rights (all ages)
- Wednesday 15th, 10.30am - 11.30am - Wiggle-bot madness! Create moving robots to either race or draw cool pictures with (ages 5-12)
- Thursday 16th January, 9.30am-10.30am - Scavenger hunt prize giving, bring in your completed scavenger hunt booklet and collect prizes
- Tuesday 21 January 9.30am-10am- Dinosaur story time and fossil dig (ages 2-5)
- Wednesday 22 January, 10.30am-11.30am - STEAM activities (ages 5-12)
- Thursday 23 January, 10.30am-11.30am - Make your own sock puppet and then put on a show (ages 3-6)
