The HMNZS Manawanui is returning to it's home port in Whitianga as part of a decommissioning visit. You are invited to bring friends and family to participate in five days of events to commemorate the service of the vessel and its crew.

- Official welcome and powhiri at Whitianga Wharf - Wednesday 31 January, 7.30am
- Whitianga Street Parade with Royal NZ Navy Band - Thursday 1 February, 2pm
- Community Service by Manawanui's crew - Friday 2 February (and function at the Matarangi Fire Brigade) 6pm
- Drill Challenge Manawanui crew vs Whitianga Volunteer Fire Brigade - Saturday 3 Feb 10am (followed by function at the Whitianga Fire Station)
- Public Open Day on board Manawanui - Sunday 4 Februrary 10am-4pm (Ceremonial Sunset on board ship at 8.20pm)
- Final Manawanui Sail from Whitianga - Monday 5 February 11.50am
