Share this with your mates and support local!

As part of the HMS Buffalo commemorations Cathedral Cove Scenic cruises are providing some special short tours leaving from Whitianga wharf.

Cruise itinerary:
You will be on board the Ocean 2 vessel leaving from Whitianga Wharf, travel to historic Back Bay and then cruise to Whitianga harbour entrance. The Ocean 2 will then take you along the route the HMS Buffalo took on her last journey - Shakespeare Cliff, Lonely Bay, Cooks Beach and to the site by Buffalo Beach where the ship founded - this will be marked by an orange buoy during the Buffalo Homecoming week commemorations.

Cathedral Cove Scenic Cruises links to the HMS Buffalo:
The current skipper of Cathdral Cove Cruises has a very personal link to the HMS Buffalo. Ken Hindmarsh is a direct descendant of John Hindmarsh who was a former captain of the HMS Buffalo.
