What to Expect

Following the success of the inagural Art and Craft Fair in 2013 The Mercury Bay Art Escape Trust is proud to present the second Fair to be held in The Whitianga Town Hall, Monk Street, on Saturday August 23th, 2014 from 9am to 3pm.

Share this with your mates and support local!

A variety of stalls from prints, soaps, bespoke furniture, mixed media etc. selling quality handmade items made on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Participants do not need to be a member of Mercury Bay Art Escape but do nned to be a resident or landowner of the Coromandel Peninsula.

All mediums and disciplines will be considered but the items must be handmade.

A jury of Mercury Bay Art Escape trustees and artists will ensure that the crafts comply with the handmade in New Zealand and location criteria. We reserve the right to ensure that there is a wide variety of art disciplines represented. No imported goods or food items will be accepted.

There will be a charge for the sales space and any required furniture but no commission will be charged on sales.

This is a fundraising event with any net proceeds being applied to future Coromandel Peninsula Art and Craft Fairs.

Set up day is Friday August 22 from 4pm until 7pm or from 7am Saturday 23 August.
