A dedicated team of paid and volunteer staff patrol Hot Water Beach near Whitianga for the following times:
Usually through Labour Weekend through to January. Patrolling at the beginning and end of the season is maintained two hours either side of low tide. During Peak Season 10am-4pm Saturdays and 10am-4pm Sundays. An emergency phone is available at Hot Water Beach to provide another tool to keep you safe at the beach!
