We are part of a wider interconnected arts community in the Coromandel region and beyond. Established in 2004, we are recognised as a quality performance group with a long pedigree and solid structure. We are well supported by our community, with good audiences.
We punch above our weight as a community choir and we provide quality entertainment for our audiences.
Although open to everyone, the choir provides a quality outlet for choristers who want a challenge or extend their skills. We have a rich programme exploring new musical styles and opportunities, engagements with nationally and internationally recognised directors, specialised performance groups, and collaboration with other arts and musical groups.
Singing in harmony is good for your health and well-being. There is much research to scientifically support that the challenges and enjoyment of singing in groups and harmonising with others improves your stress levels, relieves anxiety, and elevates your endorphins.
