Sonographer - Mercury Bay Radiology – Whitianga
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our committed team at Mercury Bay Radiology in Whitianga, Waikato. This is a part-time position that will see you play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
About the Role
You will be joining a small professional team with a strong patient focus, and we offer a family friendly work-life environment. You will be responsible for:
- Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans
- Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for all patients
- Accurately documenting all procedures and maintaining detailed patient records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in sonography and continuously improving your skills.
What we are Looking for
- Formal qualification as a Sonographer, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Expertise in a wide range of ultrasound procedures, with a strong understanding of medical imaging and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to put patients at ease
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently on a stand alone basis
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
